Serax’s lead designer Marie Michielssen is known for her boundless imagination. As a complement to her many playful and colorful ceramic designs, she created Tarte de Bobonne, a small totem that elevates a cake stand—or any other dish—into a centerpiece or conversation piece on the table. The style is raw and colorful, reminiscent of expressionism and fauvism as seen in the work of artists such as Picasso. Tarte de Bobonne is available in three heights, which together form a playful trio. These objects can also be easily combined with pieces from Marie Michielssen’s other collections.
