Meals become even more fun when you pay attention to your tableware. The bowls in the La Mère collection have an authentic look and feel thanks to the earthy color palette. This earthenware bowl has been finished with an off-white glaze and is microwave and dishwasher safe.

La Mère, the first ceramic tableware line of Marie Michielssen, is a loving ode to the (grand-)mother figure and women in general. The tableware looks slightly nostalgic but is, in many ways, innovative because of its vertical structure. Each shape is unique and hand-moulded. All pieces are finished with a glaze in broken white or a warm dark brown, almost black. As a third contrasting colour, Marie chose a bold Venetian red. The designer consciously chose these colours to create a mix & match of white with dark brown or red with dark brown. (la mere)
